Exhibits on the topics of cancel culture, democracy education in schools, energy storage in the form of hydrogen, remembrance using the example of the inner-German border, free speech in times of fake news and populism, artificial intelligence, new healing methods in biomedical technology and Leibniz's thoughts on free will will be on display.
A secure and independent energy supply is vital for high-tech industrial societies. Renewable energy sources play a central role in this today, as they are available in unlimited quantities even in resource-poor countries and are sustainable and climate-friendly. The key role that so-called green hydrogen from renewable sources plays in water electrolysis is shown by way of example. It enables the effective conversion of renewable electrical energy and water into hydrogen and oxygen.
The Leibniz Science Cube is located in the basement of the main building of Leibniz Universität Hannover (Welfengarten 1). The exhibition is designed to be accessible at all times and can be viewed individually.
A lecture on the topic of green hydrogen is planned for September 19, 2024. Leibniz University Hannover invites you to a diverse program on the topic of “freedom” in the context of its research in 2024: www.uni-hannover.de/freiheit.
